Dr. Patricia Janki brings a unique blend of cultural richness and medical expertise to ΣCare Medical Group. Originally from the Caribbean/West Indies, she pursued her education and medical training in Texas, where she graduated and began her journey in healthcare. Her goal is to combine the best of both worlds — cultural sensitivity and modern medicine — to provide compassionate, affordable care to individuals and families across East Houston. Dr. Janki believes that true wellness is more than just the absence of illness — it includes the mind, body, and spirit.

Dr. Joseph Montes, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in 1985 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in Houston. With over 35 years of clinical experience, Dr. Montes provides comprehensive care focused on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and adult primary care. He is the founder of Montes Medical Clinic, a trusted private practice serving the Houston area since 1997, with multiple clinic locations. Dr. Montes is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and maintains hospital affiliations with facilities such as HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. His license remains active and in good standing with the Texas Medical Board, and he has a strong track record of quality care, also having achieved CMS Meaningful Use certification for electronic health records.

Dr. Wasim Mohammad Khan, MD, is a dedicated and experienced physician specializing in Family and Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and has been providing compassionate, patient-centered care for over 30 years. Dr. Khan is currently practicing in the greater Houston area, including Lake Jackson and Lufkin, where he offers a wide range of services focused on preventive health, chronic disease management, and urgent care needs. She earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in 1988 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 1992, followed by a fellowship in Infectious Disease in 1994. Dr. Nicholson currently provides care through Memorial Hermann Urgent Care on Washington Avenue and maintains hospital affiliations, including Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center. Dr. Darnell Morgan, PA‑C, is a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant based in Galveston, Texas. She earned her PA from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1993 and has served patients with dedication for over 30 years. Ms. Morgan practices at a primary care facility on Avenue Q in Galveston and holds an active NPI record since March 23, 2006.
