Travel Checklist:
The following checklist will assist you in preparing for international travel.

- Learn about your destination- food and water are the main causes of travelers illnesses.
- Consult with your healthcare provider. Obtain required vaccinations.
- Arrange for an adequate supply of your prescription medication.
- Obtain a medical alert bracelet for medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, drug allergies etc.
- Obtain a directory of physicians in the location you wish to travel.
- Ensure you have a first aid travel kit.
- Know your health insurance coverage.
- We recommend you to buy additional health/accident travel insurance when overseas.
- Remember your essential documents (such as passport, visa, etc.)
Travel Immunizations:
Trips to exotic locations can be exciting but can also expose you to a variety of diseases including: Yellow Fever, Malaria, Meningitis, and Typhoid. Immunizations are one of the best ways to protect yourself from serious diseases, many of which can be life threatening.

Some countries will require proof of these immunizations before entry:

If traveling with children, additional vaccines may be required for their protection. Consult with their pediatrician.
The following are recommended that you take:
Your prescription medicines, in their original containers.
Medicine for diarrhea and upset stomach, pain medication, decongestants, antihistamine, Antibiotic ointment, adhesive bandages, hydro-cortisone cream, moleskin for blisters, sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF), lip balm, and medicine for motion sickness.
Scissors, tweezers, nail clippers, pocket knife, thermometer and mirror.
Health Tip
Certain high risk health conditions can dramatically increase a traveler's emergency. If you are pregnant or have a chronic medical condition such as allergies, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy etc., ensure to consult a health care professional prior to departure.
