6. AI Chatbot ("Thaliya") Disclosure

We are offering "Thaliya," an AI-powered virtual assistant. It provides:

  • Functionality: Thaliya will assist with scheduling, updating appointments, receiving user tickets, and answering general inquiries.
  • PHI Handling: Thaliya can process Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Privacy Protections: Thaliya is HIPAA compliant. We utilize AI vendors only under strict Business Associate Agreements (BAA).
  • Data Usage: Information processed by Thaliya is used solely to provide our services. Your data is not used by third-party vendors to train their public AI models.

7. SMS/Text Message Communications (10DLC)

As part of our services, we use SMS (text messages) to communicate with you in compliance with A2P 10DLC standards.

  • Use of Phone Number: By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive texts from ECare Medical Group.
  • Purpose of Messages: Appointment reminders, OTP verification, essential care/account updates, and information regarding health services you may qualify for.
  • Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive confirmation.

  • Frequency & Rates: Frequency varies by activity. Message/data rates may apply.
  • Carrier Disclaimer: This organization and mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. No Payment Information Collected on This Website

This website does not collect, store, or process any credit card numbers, debit card numbers, bank-account information, or other financial payment data. We do not provide or operate any payment forms or payment-processing systems on this Site.

At present, all payments for medical services are handled exclusively through our third-party patient portal, PrognoCIS, which maintains its own independent privacy, security, and compliance obligations.

In the future, our organization may provide additional patient portals or applications that require payment and are operated directly by us. Any such service will be accessible through a separate website or application and will contain its own specific privacy disclosures and payment policies that apply solely to that service.

9. Information Sharing and Disclosure

ECare Medical Group does not sell, rent, lease, or share your personal information, including your mobile number with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Trusted vendors that support our Site and clinic operations (e.g., EMR/patient portal, SMS delivery, hosting, AI providers).
    Note: If our vendors have their own usage agreements, users must abide by those terms which are outside our control.
  • Legal/Safety: When required by law (e.g., subpoena, court order) or to protect rights, property, or safety.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please acknowledge that standard email and SMS are not encrypted channels; we advise against sending highly sensitive details (like full Social Security numbers) through these specific unsecured channels.

This Site is intended for general audiences and legal guardians. While we provide medical care to children, the Site itself is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 online without parental consent.
